About us

Strike to Stun is a fanmade web-site & forum for WFRP and Mordheim that exists on the web since 2001. Founded in a time when Hogshead Publishing was responsible for WFRP it helped the community through the dark years after Hogsheads demise. The original concept of Strike to Stun was that of an online magazine with regular issues all 4 - 6 months. Over the first years there were 6 issues released.

Strike to Stun provides material for both WFRP 1st  and 2nd edition like adventures, articles, house-rules as well as reviews of WFRP-related stuff. In addition to that it is also one of the greatest online-resources for Mordheim, hosting not only a lot of fanmade material but also sites for the settings Karak Azgal and Moussillon.

Strike to Stun is run by the Server Goddess, an austrian WFRP-player since 1987. With the help of fanmade contributions she tries to provide a great online resource for the game placed in the grim world of perilous adventure.

Grew up with RPG I’ve played my first RPG (as GM) when I was 13 which was ‘Het Oog des Meesters’ (in dutch) or the orginial name “Das Schwarze Auge” that must have been around ‘86.
Then in ‘89 I was at a home of a friend of a frien where I saw a very RPG cool book, much more advanced the OdM, which was owned by her brother… two weeks later I was introduced in the world of Warhammer and have ever since never left it. I guess from the start on I’ve been tweaking the game to make suite better to my own needs and have created a huge pile of house rules, tools, background material etc. of which most I deem not really usefull to the rest of the world :D.
In ‘92 I started to study physics and at that time I discovered that a lot of people played RPG (interestingly enough they were not the people with a technical background (AKA nerds) but mostly linguists, historians and people from art school (and of course the occasional nerd, like me :D). So RPG made me a LOT of friends and weekly sessions if not more often were normal.
And now… married, a kid, a house, still quite some friends, unfortunately a lot less time on my hands, but due to my technical background and my eternal drive to keep my head busy creating mainly software to support WFRP GM’s…
Material of me can be found obviously on StS, but also on the Liber Fanatica site and WindsOfChaos!
