Liber Fanatica looking for a Lead Developer for LF 8

Friday, February 4th, 2011

This was posted by Jay Hafner on the StS-Forums:

We need a Lead Developer for LF8. I headed up LF7 and am willing to stay on as assistant editor, but I need someone to step up and take the reins to keep everyone to deadlines, encourage production, and get creativity out of people.

We’ve already got articles coming in, and I’d love to see this continue to ride the WFRP official release waves.

If you’re even REMOTELY interested, please email me at: hafner DOT jay AT gmail.com.

Time of change

Thursday, April 1st, 2010

Today we gonna announce that Strike to Stun will discontinue support for WFRP. Instead we will make WotC’s Dungeons & Dragons our major game. The decision to make this move was a tough one. But the fact that the new third edition of WFRP gives you the feeling that you are playing a trading card game helped us in making this move. Also we think that the current D&D setting has a more grim and perilous approach than the  post-Storm of Chaos background of the current WFRP setting. We are  aware that many in the fan community will be shocked. Nevertheless we hope that people will understand the reasons why we had to do it.

So what will change at Strike to Stun in the next months?

The current uploaded fan material will be converted to fit into the D&D setting. Stuff like house-rules or material that is too WFRP related will be available for a couple of weeks and then be taken offline. Also a bunch of new forums for D&D will be created, the current WFRP-forums will be locked within five days.  Visitors will be able to read them for a couple of months before they are taken offline. The most important thing though is the relaunch of the site. We wanna give it a more D&Dish look. This also involves changing the name into Strike & Stun which sounds in our opinion more fancy than the old name.

As you can see, a lot of things will happen in the next months. We really hope that you enjoy visiting Strike & Stun.
